Moving Right Along

Craig had his individual home study interview yesterday.  We gave our social worker the rest of our completed paperwork.  Here's what is left of the home study process:
-  Finish our 10 hours of training
-  Finish the required reading for training
-  Get background check results in
-  Get the kids' medical forms (this will be done on Monday)
-  Get my medical forms (will be done next Wednesday)
-  Acquire our reference letters (you know who you are!!)  :)
-  Have our final interview which includes the walk through of our house.

Would you pray specifically and boldly for us?

I will be calling the FBI office tomorrow to see if our prints are in the database yet.  IF they are, the background check will be expedited per our doctor's request and we should have results by next week. Will you join us in praying that our prints ARE INDEED in the database?  If they're not, we have to wait a week before calling again to check.

Once the home study is completed we will file our I-800A for immigration.  This will take anywhere from 1-3 months.  Once the I800A is approved and we have the rest of our documents, we can submit our dossier.   Then things move to Miah's country to be reviewed and approved.

For those who have asked for a timeline, we don't really have any idea.  Based on some VERY rough estimates, we could possibly have our dossier submitted in December (which would probably have us taking our first trip in January or February).  But that's just a guess.  It could be sooner or much later.  We'll see.

Thank you, as always, for the prayers.  The peace that has been over me lately is only possible through God.  We're right where He wants us.
