Our First Fundraising Giveaway

Hi friends!  We're getting ready to hit the fundraising effort hard again.  Our goal is to be able to adopt our next child without ANY debt at all.  And we're already hopefully halfway there!  I have full faith that you can help us get ALL the way there.  Why are we fundraising?  Why not just take out a loan or spend several years building up savings?  Visit this post for our answers on that.  In a nutshell: we believe God wants YOU involved in saving the orphans.  And this is one way you can help.  We want you to know the blessing of giving to a greater cause than this world understands.  We also believe that there are kids out there who need homes NOW.  It would take us at least 3 years to save up enough money to adopt a child on our own.  We don't believe God wants us waiting that long.  With your help, we'll be able to start the process much sooner.

So with all of that out of the way, we're excited to announce our very first giveaway!  Bear with us as we work through the details.  There may be some changes that come throughout the process and we appreciate your grace as we make adjustments when needed.  We currently have $15,930 in our adoption fund.  HALF of that is there because of the efforts and gifts of others.  You know who you are.  Thank you so much for your generosity!

Our next goal is to reach $18,000 by the end of August.  Once we hit that goal, we will be giving away a gift certificate for $100 to Crafting Mommies!  (This is the business my sister-in-law and I started last year.  We offer crocheted and knitted items, as well as hair bows, paintings, and other accessories.  Find us on Facebook to see all that we offer!)

We'll also be giving away a $50 gift card to Carraba's that comes with the option of childcare if you're local!

So how do you enter the giveaway?  You can get entries 2 ways. 

~ Donate to our adoption fund.  To keep things simpler on our end, every donation will receive ONE entry.  You must comment on this post and let us know you donated.  You can donate using the Chip In button on the right of our blog, or if you're local you can hand deliver your donation.  (Chip-In works through paypal, so you can be sure your donations are safe!)

~ Share this post via your blog, facebook, twitter, etc.  Once you share this post, comment here and let us know.  You'll receive an additional entry just for spreading the word!  

Please help spread the word!  We just need 203 people to donate $10.  Or 20 people to donate $100.  Or some mixture.   Even the smallest amount helps!

We will draw a winner for the giveaway on September 1 as long as we've reached our goal of $2,030 raised.  We have every confidence that you guys can help us get there!  Once we reach this goal, we will be 2/3 of the way to raising the anticipated funds for our adoption!  Thank you so much for your generosity.  We fully believe God will bless your gift.
