The Update

Last Thursday I promised you an update on the email I received from our case worker. It's now Saturday night and I'm just getting around to posting that update. Something about two kids, keeping house, and making owls keeps a girl busy! :)

So we received an email Thursday morning saying our referral was still pending but expected any time. That could mean Monday. Or it could mean a month from now. Eastern European timing is nothing like my timing. So we wait.

But that wasn't the end of the email. We were told that our facilitator had another suggestion of how to use our "baba" funds. We could use them to pay for Miah's baba to spend an additional 2 hours a day with her as planned. Or we could have the money split between her and a physiotherapist. Her baba would spend an extra two hours with her two days a week, for a total of 4 hours on those two days. On the remaining three days Miah would still get two hours with her baba, but she would also see a physiotherapist.

Obviously we took the second option! As disappointing as it was to not receive referral, God is reminding us that He is taking care of her while she waits.

And while WE wait, I am cleaning house and finishing orders so that when referral comes we are ready to go with nothing holding us back! :).
